Here's how to make jerky with regular hamburger meat from the store along with Smokehouse Products jerky gun and their dry rub and mix. When ready we smoke it in the Big Chief or Little Chief Electric Smoker.

Hi Ken, the temperature of the Little Chief is around 165 F (depending on the outside temps). At this temperature we do the jerky strips for about 4-6 hours depending on the texture we want for that particular batch.

with the jerky shown, what was the temperature of the cooker, and how long did it cook???
