Big Chief Front Load Electric Smoker

    Big Chief Top Load Electric Smoker

    If you're more of the burly hardcore outdoors man, then the Big Chief Top Load smoker may be a better fit than our more traditional front load model. The top loader requires a little extra muscle to load and unload the rack through the top of the smoker, but it provides an added convenience to be able to move all your grill racks at once. Whether you're loading all your jerky onto the rack at once in the kitchen, or moving a rack full of salmon around so you can fan dry the brined fish before you smoke it... the top load rack allows you mobility with all five grill racks at once.     Black Pepper Jerky Dry Rub & Mix

    Just add to Ground or Strip Meat. Original, Black Pepper, and Red Pepper Flavor (8 oz.) makes 15 Lbs. of jerky; Black Pepper Flavor (5 oz.) makes 5 Lbs. of jerky.

    Strip Meat Jerky: No water is necessary to make jerky from solid strip meat. Use 1 tablespoon of seasoning per 1 pound of meat. Sprinkle evenly and rub seasoning on both sides of meat. Spread or hang seasoned meat on racks, drying screens, or oven baking sheets. Place in Smokehouse smoker, food dehydrator or conventional oven.

    Ground Meat or Hamburger Jerky: Apply 1 tablespoon of seasoning per 1 pound of meat. Mix meat thoroughly so that seasoning is evenly distributed throughout. If meat is too dry to mix thoroughly, gradually add water until meat mixes easily. Form meat mixture into strips and place on drying screen or oven baking sheets. Place in Smokehouse smoker, food dehydrator or conventional oven.

    Drip Pans

    Square Replacement Drip Pan for the Big Chief, Little Chief and Mini Chief Electric Smokers. The Drip Pan is made of galvanized steel. When using your Drip Pan, spray it with non-stick cooking spray to help with cleanup. The Drip Pan should be cleaned regularly. Simply slip it into a sink of warm soapy water and after a short soak it will wipe clean easily.

    Drying/Grilling Screens

    Our drying screens are newly designed to give you more versatility when smoking and grilling. Now safe for temperatures up to 550° Fahrenheit (288° Celsius)! The screens are non-stick, dishwasher safe and designed to fit the Big or Little Chief Electric Smoker, however, they also work excellent with all grills, smokers and dehydrators. 

    The non-stick drying and grilling screens are made of premium PTFE Teflon and are food safe with FDA approval. Simply place your food on the screens on the grills or grates of your smoker, grill or dehydrator. They eliminate your food from falling through the grates, and best of all, prevents your food from sticking to the grill grates.

    The screens are perfect for all your smoked and grilled foods, including jerky, salmon, trout, other fish, vegetables, beef, pork, cheese, nuts, seafood and more! Packaging also includes the Smokehouse Original Smoked Salmon Recipe, plus a link to watch the recipe video.

If you need to replace your current heating element in your smoker, you should do so with the exact same size and model that is currently installed. To determine which size and model you need to order, it is best to carefully remove the current heating element (be sure the smoker is unplugged and off, and the element is cold to the touch) and measure its exact size to know which new one to order.
