From Latte to Mocha, Macchiato to Cappuccino, there are so many ways to brew up a delicious coffee. Adding the essence of smoke gives that already delectable drink one more level of flavor. It's easy to smoke up just a few of the ingredients in these drinks, or almost all of them. Many of the elements can be smoked ahead of time and their smoke flavor will deepen further after smoking. 

Smoked Pumpkin Spice Latte

Smoked Pumpkin Spice Latte

2 Tablespoons Canned Pumpkin Puree, Smoked

2 Teaspoons Brown Sugar or Honey, Optional

1/8 Teaspoon Ground Ginger

1/8 Teaspoon Ground Cloves

1/8 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg

1/8 Teaspoon Cinnamon

8 - Ounces Whole Milk

2 - Ounces Smoked Heavy Cream

1 Shot of Espresso Made With Smoked Coffee Beans

Nutmeg and Cinnamon For Grated Garnish

Apple or Cherry BBQ Wood Pellets

Load Smokehouse Smoke Chief Cold Smoke Generator with apple or cherry BBQ wood pellets. Set up Smoke Chief in a smoker or grill.

For best results, use a Smokehouse Drying Screen on BBQ grill grates or shallow dishes to hold liquid ingredients.

Cold smoke desired amount of coffee beans, pumpkin and heavy whip cream 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Smoked Coffee Drink

Smoked coffee ingredients can be smoked several days in advance and kept refrigerated. 

To make the drink, whisk pumpkin, sugar or honey, spices and 8 ounces of milk, warm to desired temperature over medium heat on the stove or in the microwave. Add espresso. Froth 2 ounces of smoked cream and spoon on top of coffee. Grate fresh nutmeg and cinnamon with a microplane over froth, if desired.

1 Package of Hot Chocolate Mix

10 - Ounces Coffee Brewed From Smoked Coffee Beans

3 - Ounces Smoked Heavy Cream

1 Small Square of Smoked Chocolate

Load Smokehouse Smoke Chief Cold Smoke Generator with Apple or Cherry BBQ Wood Pellets. Set up Smoke Chief in a grill or smoker. For best results, use a Smokehouse Drying Screen on BBQ grill grates or shallow dishes to hold liquid ingredients. Cold smoked desired amount of coffee beans, heavy cream and chocolate 30 minutes to 1 hour. Smoked coffee ingredients can be smoked several days in advance and kept refrigerated. 

To make the drink, dissolve hot chocolate mix in hot coffee. Froth 3 - ounces heavy cream and spoon on top of mocha. Grate smoked chocolate with a microplane over whipped cream.

1 Tablespoons Smoked Maple Syrup

2 Shots Espresso Made With Smoked Coffee Beans

10 - Ounces Whole Milk

Smoked Maple Syrup For Drizzling

Load Smokehouse Smoke Chief Cold Smoke Generator with apple or cherry BBQ wood pellets. Set up Smoke Chief in a smoker or grill. For best results, use a Smokehouse Drying Screen on BBQ grill grates or shallow dishes to hold liquid ingredients. Cold smoke desired amount of coffee beans, whole milk and maple syrup 30 minutes to 1 hour. Smoked coffee ingredients can be smoked several days in advance and kept refrigerated.

To make the drink, heat milk to desired temperature and froth, reserve a small amount of froth for the top. Add espresso and finish with additional froth. Drizzle smoked maple syrup over the froth.

8 - Ounces Brewed Coffee Made With Smoked Coffee Beans

1 Shot Smoked Scottish Whisky

1-2 Teaspoons of Sugar, (Optional)

2 - Ounces Heavy Cream

Load Smokehouse Smoke Chief Cold Smoke Generator with apple or cherry BBQ wood pellets. Set up Smoke Chief in a smoker or grill. For best results, use a Smokehouse Drying Screen on BBQ grill grates or shallow dishes to hold liquid ingredients. Cold smoke desired amount of coffee beans, whole milk and whisky 30 minutes to 1 hour. Smoked coffee ingredients can be smoked several days in advance and kept refrigerated.

To make drink, dissolve sugar into hot coffee and add whisky. Lightly froth or whip smoked cream and spoon over coffee. Grate nutmeg with a microplane over cream if desired.
