At a total size of just 14” x 11-1/2” x 11-1/2” the Mini Chief is ideal for your RV, motor home, camping, townhome, condominium, or just when you only want to smoke tonight’s dinner. The Mini Chief is compact but it comes with the same features as the Big Chief and Little Chief smokers.

Just like the Big and Little Chief, the Mini Chief heats up to about 165 degrees Fahrenheit, so it’s simple to produce great smoking results. No overcooking, fluctuating temperatures, worry about getting your wood smoking, or dealing with those Bluetooth Wi-Fi app things that are just a pain to deal with. The Mini Chief is simply ideal and has been smoking all kinds of foods like fish, jerky, sausage, cheeses and everything else we can possibly think to smoke since the 1960’s.

Want to know more about how simple it is to smoke with the Mini Chief? First it just plugs into a standard household outlet (use an outside one of course). Next, once you have your food loaded in the smoker on the easily removable grill rack, you can close the lid and access your wood flavor pan without ever opening the door again. The wood flavor pan can be inserted and removed without losing any heat or dealing with fluctuating temps. Just choose your favorite flavor of Smokehouse Wood Chips and you're guaranteed to be getting an amazing amount of smoke... even with the smoker temperature at just 165 degrees!

great little smoker

Ive had this smoker for many years, Im visiting the site to get some replacement grates. I purchased mine back when Luhr Jensen was the distributer of this product. My favorite smoked item are Black Russian Cherry Tomatoes. Try that, it take about 150 tomatoes to fill up the mini chief.

Chief Smokers

I’ve been using these Luhr Jensen smokers for forty years for smoking fish and making jerky!
You can take all of the fancy electronic smokers and pellet smokers and put the up against a Chief smoker and they don’t cut it in my estimation! Consistently they produce excellent products every time and the big reason there are no controls to mess with. They produce the correct temperature for making excellent smoked salmon and the best tender jerky ever!
